Bad Eddie Shipwreck Donegal

Bad Eddie Boat, shipwreck in Bunbeg on Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way. Cara Na Mara (‘Friend of the Sea’) is the official title of the abandoned boat which ran into trouble during stormy seas in the early 1970. The Bad Eddie Boat was towed into Magheraclogher Beach in Gweedore, Co Donegal and as you can see from my image very little of the shipwreck remains today.

I tried for three days to capture a decent sunset at this location and on the fourth day I got lucky with about twenty minutes of stunning light and colour as blue hour was approaching.

All of my images are printed on Hahnemuhle photo Lustre paper that has a semi-gloss and textured type finish to it.
